Tips to Declutter
It's that time of year again! The leaves are changing color and the weather is getting cooler, which can only mean one thing: it's time to start thinking about decluttering your home.
Whether you're preparing to buy or sell, decluttering your home will help you be best prepared for the move. Not sure where to start? Here are some tips:
-Start with one room at a time. Don't try to tackle the entire house all at once or you'll quickly become overwhelmed.
-Focus on storage areas first, such as closets, cabinets, and pantries. These are usually the places where we tend to accumulate the most clutter.
-Purge items that you no longer need or use. If you haven't worn or used something in the past year, chances are you don't need it.
-Organize what's left. Once you've decluttered your home, take the time to properly organize what's left. This will make it easier to keep your home clutter-free in the future.

Seller's Tip: Don't forget counters and walls. If you can start packing items away or finding storage space for everyday items this will help buyers envision themselves in the home.
Buyer's Tip: Take this opportunity to start packing. Take photos of items inside the box before putting away. Print photo, tape to box and label it with the room it would be moved to.
